417 4187d 16h loomsday /highres/ #4103 polymer version

415 4198d 23h leod / New maphack system. User map maphacks added (2012 releases, Roch, and more).
Revision strings reverted from "5.1.414" to "Repository Snapshot".

The 3D Realms maphacks are not new. They have been copied from the HRP's root folder (atomic), the HRP's installer directory (1.3D), and the Polymost HRP (atomic).

The new maphacks are non-functional until EDuke32 catches up. Note that you should use EDuke32 r3309 (thanks, h266) or later unless you like being flooded with error messages in your eduke32.log file.

414 4201d 7h leod / Set version numbers for full release. (But I'd prefer to have the UserMapHacks included before.)
413 4229d 23h leod / E1L1.mhk, E1L2.mhk commented and reformatted to allow for scripted patching

Well, it's not likely that this will happen some time, tbh., but you never know.

412 4243d 1h leod / Maphacks: add line feed at the end of *.mhk files

hrp_extract.sh: Attrition<>Polymost HRP compatibility patch to prevent EDuke32 crashes. (Current Attrition: 1.40; current EDuke32: r3146)

411 4251d 22h leod /highres/sprites/ Tile 0631 by Gambini (user maps only)
410 4260d 0h leod /highres/sprites/decals/ 1220 updated (user maps only)

Nice moon (r241/r348), but apparently the mappers just want a blank sphere. (WideAwake, routine, brains2, ...)
I have tried to reproduce the ART tint, but maybe I'll change it to greyscale later.
Someone should make a model ...

409 4261d 2h leod / sounds.def : interface for replacing game sounds with a custom pack or a mod. Note that this might interfere with user maps which bring their own VOC replacements.

hrp_readme.txt : update

408 4265d 7h leod / texture 0186 : revert to Polymost version until neighbours 187-190 are polymerized, too. (0191 should be kept in mind as well)

hrp_extract.sh : cleanup

407 4347d 6h leod / Polymost: rename 2493_old to 2493_polymost and use as menu screen;
hrp_extract.sh: enable DukePlus<>Polymost HRP compatibility patch for akimbo pistols

405 4355d 1h loomsday /highres/textures/ more accurate glowmap
404 4355d 1h loomsday /highres/ tile #390 polymerized
403 4355d 3h leod /highres/sprites/ oops
402 4355d 3h leod / version numbers removed from HRP intro screens - these should only be added to the zipped distribution packs (or removed right after any release)

nitpickish renamery of new chair's diffuse map

401 4355d 6h loomsday /highres/ tile #217 polymerized
400 4355d 6h leod /highres/sprites/ Polymost: keep old chair. It fits better IMO.
399 4355d 7h leod /highres/ Polymost: 0156 pal 22
398 4355d 7h loomsday /highres/sprites/props/ angle +90 CW
397 4355d 11h loomsday /highres/sprites/ chair #556 polymerized
396 4355d 23h leod / Polymost glowmaps added; duke3d.def: remove irritating comment.

I'm not really happy with this solution but up to now only four files are affected by this rare Polymer/Polymost conflict. And so far I think it's better for maintenance not to introduce a textures_polymost folder.

duke3d.def: This is definetely not the place to split the DEF path between Polymer and Polymost.

395 4356d 0h leod /highres/ Polymer glowmaps renamed
